A phoenix is a mythical firebird that is found in myths from of the Persians, Greek's, Romans, and many more. The phoenix's cry is said to make a beautiful song. When the Phoenix has lived for 500 hundred years it builds itself a nest on the top of an Oak tree, or palm tree. The bird ignites itself, then rebirths from the ashes it has left. Since the bird is immortal it builds itself a nest as a new place to be reborn.The phoenix started in ancient mythology and the story of the phoenix has changed a lot in art and literature. The significance of a phoenix is rebirth, the sun, and immortality.
